TERMS & CONDITIONS

Conditions of Entry & Terms of Use

Welcome to Sam’s Indoor Sports Centre. By entering our premises and/or participating in any activity, event, or hire, you agree to the following conditions of entry and terms of use.


1. General Conditions of Entry

  • All visitors must comply with staff directions, signage, and safety rules at all times.
  • Children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult unless participating in a supervised program.
  • Appropriate sports attire and non-marking shoes are required on all courts.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted on courts or playing surfaces (except water in closed bottles).
  • Outside food, drinks, and alcohol are strictly prohibited at all times.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the premises for the safety and comfort of all patrons.
  • Bikes, scooters, and skateboards must not be brought inside the building. They must be parked in the designated outdoor parking areas only.

2. Liability & Insurance

  • Sam’s Indoor Sports Centre holds Public Liability Insurance covering the premises.
  • Personal Accident or Injury: We do not provide insurance for injuries sustained while participating in sports, activities, or events within the centre.
  • Customers are encouraged to obtain their own private medical and/or personal accident insurance if they wish to be covered while playing sports or using the facilities.
  • Participation in all activities (including badminton, pickleball, indoor cricket, soccer, netball, pool, table tennis, carrom, darts, kids play zone, or other events) is at your own risk.

3. Parking Rules

  • Customer vehicles must be parked only in the designated parking spaces.
  • Employer/staff-only parking spaces must not be used by customers under any circumstances.
  • Any unauthorised vehicles parked in restricted spaces will be reported to a towing company, and towing costs will be the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

4. Health & Safety

  • Do not participate if you feel unwell, have a contagious illness, or are under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
  • Please warm up before playing to minimise the risk of injury.
  • All equipment must be used safely and as intended.
  • Any damage to property or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the premises.

5. Facility Use & Events

  • Court/Facility Hire: Bookings are essential and must be paid in advance (unless otherwise agreed).
  • Birthday Parties & Events: External catering, decorations, and additional activities must be pre-approved.
  • Kids Play Zone: Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising children at all times.
  • Private Functions & Hall Hire: Hirers are responsible for their guests’ behaviour and must leave the venue in a clean and tidy condition.

6. Business Activities

  • Customers are not permitted to conduct any type of business within the premises that may compete with or affect Sam’s Indoor Sports Centre operations.
  • This includes (but is not limited to):
    • Selling or distributing products (e.g., shuttles, rackets, accessories).
    • Collecting rackets for restringing services.
    • Promoting or advertising competing sports services.
  • Anyone found engaging in such activities will be asked to leave immediately, and future entry will be restricted.

7. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

  • All bookings must be paid in full before play or event commencement.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking may not be refunded.
  • Once payment is received via PayPal, credit card, or wallet recharge at the reception counter, refunds to personal bank accounts are not available.
  • Any credited amount may be used to purchase goods or apparel from our centre, or can be utilised for coaching or training services.
  • If the credited amount is not utilised for any of the above purposes, a cancellation and administrative fee of $99 will apply. Any remaining balance may be considered for transfer at the sole discretion of management, based on the reason and circumstances of each case. Management reserves the right to decline any refund in full or in part.
  • Sam’s Indoor Sports Centre reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to maintenance, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Property & Belongings

  • Sam’s Indoor Sports Centre is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
  • Please keep valuables with you at all times.

9. Photography & Media

  • By entering the premises, you consent to photography or video that may be taken for promotional purposes unless you notify staff otherwise.

10. Right to Refuse Entry

  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who:
    • Breaches these conditions.
    • Engages in unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive behaviour.
    • Conducts unauthorised business activities.
    • Poses a risk to themselves or others.

Acknowledgement

By entering Sam’s Indoor Sports Centre, you acknowledge that:

  • You understand and accept the risks of participating in indoor sports and activities.
  • You are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing.
  • You agree to follow the rules and respect other users of the facility.
